California Kingsnake


the california kingsnake is a non-venomous colubrid snake found in thye Western United states and nothen Mexico. It is realtively small subspecies of the common Knigsnake and is naturally found in a wide variety of habitats. One of the most populaer snakes in captivity, the calinfornia kingsnake can vary widely in appearance due to numerous naturally occurring and captive devdoped color morphs. cal kings reach adult size at between 3 and 4 years of age, for most specimens, this amounts to just over 4 feet in length. However, 5 and 6 foot individuals are not unheard of. wckly, due to their slender build, even a 5 foot king snake is a completely monagcable.
